The Rundown: OpenAI just announced the return of ChatGPT browsing, with the chatbot now gaining up-to-date access to information across the internet via integration with Bing search.
The details:
ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise users can enable web browsing, with the feature expanding to the free tier shortly.
The feature returns after being disabled months ago following the tool bypassing publisher paywalls.
With access to real-time data, the move greatly expands ChatGPT’s knowledge beyond its previously limiting 2021 training data cutoff.

Why it matters: While ChatGPT has undoubtedly been a revelation, its knowledge cutoff proved constraining. This new move takes the chatbot one step closer to being the ultimate replacement for traditional search engines.

The Rundown: Former iPhone designer Jony Ive is reportedly in talks with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman about developing new AI hardware device.
Key points:
Details are scarce, but a report revealed that the longtime friends are exploring an unspecified AI device together.
It wouldn't be the duo’s first partnership — they’ve previously worked together on the Worldcoin AI retina scanner.
Altman also backs Humane, a wearable startup run by ex-Apple staff, collaborating with OpenAI on physical AI integrations.
